Islands of
the Blessed
Mythological Co-op Action RPG
The only co-op game where the resource you manage isn't health or stamina — it's reality itself.
About the game
Islands of the Blessed is a cooperative action RPG set in a dreamlike mythological world where reality is not the same for everyone.
Play solo or with up to four players as you journey across islands inspired by the great civilizations of antiquity. You are a mortal drawn into Eldoria — a timeless realm shaped by ancient gods and dying myths. Each island holds its own culture, its own secrets, and its own growing darkness.
But Eldoria's greatest danger is not its enemies. It is what your mind does to them.
As the corruption spreads, your perception begins to unravel. Shapes drift at the edge of your vision. Creatures appear that your allies cannot see. Passages that seem open to one player are walls to another. The deeper you venture, the harder it becomes to trust what is real.
In co-op, two players standing side by side may be living two completely different encounters. What you see, your ally may not. Talking stops being optional.
Between expeditions, return to the Sanctuary — a peaceful refuge beyond the corruption's reach. Build, craft, grow resources, and prepare for what lies ahead.
Built in Unreal Engine 5. In active development. Coming to Early Access in 2027.
Some worlds are explored.
This one is survived, one shared truth at a time.
And in Eldoria, truth depends on who's looking.

The Drift is your mind's state in the face of Eldoria's corruption. It doesn't grow as an abstract number — it concretely alters what you see and live. Each player manages their own Drift independently. Two players in the same place can fight two radically different battles.
Islands of the Blessed is the only co-op game where the resource you manage isn't health or stamina — it's reality itself. Before you can coordinate on what to do, you first have to agree on what's even there.
Five states. They have names — you'll learn them the hard way.
Key features
- 01Explore mythological dreamlandsTravel across islands inspired by the great civilizations of antiquity — Greece, Rome, Egypt, Babylon — each with its own culture, architecture, and atmosphere, all quietly twisted by a growing corruption.
- 02When reality differsAs the corruption spreads, players stop perceiving the same world. Creatures visible to one ally may be invisible to another. What looks like an open path may be a dead end for someone else. Communication becomes your most critical survival tool.
- 03Solo or co-op — up to 4 playersExperience the journey alone or with friends online. The story is shared and the Sanctuary is common ground, but what each player sees and lives may diverge as the Drift deepens.
- 04Dynamic combat & divine powersThere's no stamina bar — only your decisions. Fight corrupted creatures with weapons shaped from what you find: metal for power, precious wood for perception, crystals for magic. The gods themselves lend a hand — in ways you wouldn't expect.
- 05Ancient dungeons & powerful bossesEnter corrupted temples and forgotten sanctuaries. Face guardians whose core mechanic mirrors the island's theme — learned in the open world before being tested in full.
- 06Decipher an ancient languageEldoria has its own forgotten tongue, written into ruins, scrolls and inscriptions. Piece it together and the world starts to give up its secrets — and a few rare powers.
- 07Build & expand your SanctuaryGrow the Sanctuary — a peaceful refuge beyond the corruption. Craft equipment, farm resources, cook, fish, build structures, and prepare for what lies ahead.
- 08A world that gets strangerThe further you go, the more unstable Eldoria becomes. Trust your allies. Question what you see. And never assume the world looks the same to everyone.
Many islands. Many civilizations. One world coming undone.
Each island reflects a different culture of antiquity — corrupted, twisted, impossible. Each introduces new systems, new crystals, and a growing instability that pushes the Drift further. Early Access opens with Greece; the rest arrive as major updates on the road to 1.0.

Sunflower fields, marble temples, amber skies. Light reveals, and light heals. Minos Jr. is your guide.
Early Access 2027Martial grandeur falling into ruin. Ruby crystals. Griffo — an overconfident young griffin — guides you.
Impossible, non-Euclidean spaces. Topaz crystals. Anu — a gloomy young Anubis — guides you.
Verticality and hanging gardens. Sapphire crystals. Mu — a pedantic cat-dragon — guides you.
A fifth and final island. We're not ready to talk about this one yet.
Version 1.0 — Full releaseMeet the guides.
Each island has a guide — a clumsy, adolescent mythological creature who travels with you and carries more history than they let on. They're not tutorials on legs: each has its own fears, quirks, and reasons for helping. You'll end up looking after them as much as they look after you.
You'll meet your first guide, Minos Jr., in Greece at Early Access. The others are revealed alongside their islands — here's a first glimpse of who's coming.
Full portrait coming soon
Enthusiastic, fearful, cheese-obsessed, and talks far too much when he's anxious. The last heir of the Labyrinth — and he wears sneakers. Nobody knows who gave him the idea.
Rome
An overconfident young griffin with a soft spot for raisins.
Egypt
A gloomy young Anubis with a deadpan, slightly morbid sense of humour.
Babylon
A pedantic cat-dragon who collects old pottery and changes colour with his mood.
The Sanctuary — your home in Eldoria
Beyond the reach of the corruption lies the Sanctuary: a quiet, sunlit refuge that anchors the whole game. It's where you return between expeditions — to breathe, to build, and to prepare for what comes next. No enemies, no Drift, no illusions. Just you, your companions, and a place slowly coming back to life.
You arrive to a ruin. Over the journey you rebuild it into a thriving home — and that transformation is the clearest mirror of your own progress. In co-op, the Sanctuary is shared ground: everything you raise, everyone enjoys.
Frequently asked questions
When is Islands of the Blessed coming out?
We're targeting Early Access on PC (Steam) in 2027. The Steam page is on its way — wishlists open the day it launches.
What will Early Access include?
The complete first island — Greece — with all the core systems: exploration, combat, the Drift, co-op and the Sanctuary. The remaining islands arrive as major updates on the road to 1.0 — five islands in all.
Can I play solo?
Yes. The whole game is designed to be fully playable solo — the real thing, not a trimmed-down mode. And solo works offline.
How does co-op work?
Online co-op for up to 4 players. You share the journey and the Sanctuary — but you won't always share the same reality. Talking is part of the game.
Will there be controller support?
Controller support is planned — it may arrive during Early Access rather than on day one.
How much will it cost?
Early Access pricing will be announced closer to launch.
What languages will it support?
English and French at Early Access. More languages will be considered as development moves forward.
Will it support mods?
Not for Early Access. Modding is something we'd like to explore further down the road — no promises yet.
